The most popular way of getting to Skye is by road, as once you are on the island it is best to have your own car to go sight seeing.

Once on the Isle of Skye, follow the main A87 road until you reach Portree, the Islands capital. From Portree head north on the A855 and follow the signs for Staffin. As you enter the township of Staffin you will be presented with a fantasic vista of Staffin Bay and the Trotternish Ridge. Continue down the hill into the centre of Staffin and then take a left turn onto the road marked Marrishadder, Maligar and Garros, which you then follow for a further 1.5miles, then take a right turn signposted Maligar. An Cnoc is the first house on the right.
